Hiya one and all, being some what new to the furry world I'm unsure of what is on offer out there and what social gatherings maybe close by to me, I would love to here from any furries in the area of Hampshire and hopefully meet some.

Dear Furs,

Most things, over time, improve in quality. Wine, cheese, technology. Even Fursuits are not immune to change. I've been in the Fur Fandom for nearly 10 years. I've attended five conventions, and seen MANY suits up close. Some have been simple suits, some have been incredible constructions of engineering.

For most of us, the furry fandom is something of a past time. Sometimes, there might be some form of spiritual connection. But sometimes you can take it too far.

Politics is always in the air. You cannot avoid even though at times you wish the whole thing would go away. Look at the American election – after all, it is impossible not to. Months and months of coverage, much of it pointless and reporting rumours. All of these stories about Barack Obama being a secret Muslim, an elitist, a socialist, not to mention the “Terrorist fist-bump” and “Not being black because this father was white”. At least we British only limit general elections to a few weeks.
